‘O World at War’, by Pauline O’Shea

It’s everywhere this week, from TVs to phones, newspapers to radio, our world is at war and so with saddened heart I write these words today… I hope humanity can rise to the humanitarian challenge it is now facing, that aggressor’s everywhere are defeated, and that ultimately, goodness, freedom, love and peace win, and with great pace, so that the least lives may be lost and the least injuries sustained… the following poem is inspired by all that is happening and all these hopes. May God bless our world and the people in it…
